It's Like Butta Baby!

I was in a Borders this weekend and I can’t explain the sadness I felt walking through the remains of one of my favorite bookstores. We live in sad times.

I have to be honest.  When I first saw this, I thought it was some generic message thing that had to do with the quote alone.  However, it was brought to my attention that this is from a Borders store.  I have to say, this is the saddest thing I have seen all day, maybe even all week.

I’d like to personally thank the creators of the Kindle and Nook for this atrocity.

the borders near my house was the one i went to for the hp7 release party. there are no words for how devastated i was when i walked in there a couple weeks ago and saw this. it isn’t right.

The one near my house had what was left of the books stacked everywhere, and the shelves were gone. But the quotes were still on the walls, and it was just so sad, seeing people buying what was left of the harlequin romances and the anime. All of the beautiful literature and amazing movies and shows were gone, and it was just depressing.
I despise ebooks, and this is why.
